Associate Dean for Research, Dr. William C. Tang, takes a number of students from UC Irvine to study and observe the spread, diagnosis, and treatment of Malaria in Thailand and Myanmar. This project was made possible in collaboration with Dr. Guiyun Yan, Professor at UC Irvine's Department of Public Health, and Dr. Jetsurmon Prachumsri, Professor at Mahidol University's School of Tropical Diseases in Bangkok, Thailand.
